HMS Fellowship Program in Transfusion Medicine - Curriculum

During the initial year of clinical training, fellows develop expertise in all areas of transfusion medicine, including blood collection and processing, immunohematology, stem cell collection and cellular therapies, consultative transfusion medicine, and therapeutic apheresis. Fellows are encouraged to develop individual research interests in the first year that may be pursued during an additional one or two years of training.
